What are Alberta casino advisors and why do you need them?
In Alberta, a portion of gaming revenue in registered casinos is made available for not for profit organizations (licensed groups). In order to obtain this revenue, the licensed group must provide volunteers to help conduct the gaming event, and they must hire registered casino advisors to ensure the volunteers carry out their duties as required in the Casino Terms & Conditions and Operating Guidelines (CTCOG).
Advisors are independent contractors hired by the licensed group to assist in the conduct of the casino event. Advisors are Gaming Workers registered with the AGLC. Advisors are required to be on site at the casino continuously until the casino closes.
Alberta Casino Advisors Incorporated acts a Gaming Worker Supplier, which carries a specific registration under AGLC rules. Alberta Casino Advisors Incorporated works with numerous advisors throughout the province including the one listed on this website.
